Method

Prepare K&N’s Tikka Toppingz 'n Fillingz as per instructions on pack.

In a pot, heat oil and add garlic, cook for a minute. Add cumin seeds, green chillies and sizzle for a minute.

Add onion and cook until translucent. Add tomatoes and cook until tender.

Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, whole spice powder, salt, dried mango powder and mix well.

Add boiled lentils and water; mix well.

Add prepared K&N’s Tikka Toppingz 'n Fillingz and cook over medium flame until fully done.

Pour prepared Tarka over Chicken Tikka Daal. Dish out and garnish with coriander.

Chicken Tikka Daal is ready. Serve with rice or roti and enjoy.

 

For Boiled Lentils

In a pot add soaked lentil, water, salt, turmeric powder and mix well. Bring it to a boil.

Cover and cook until 80% done. Turn off flame and set aside.

  • Garlic - 1 tbsp; chopped
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Dried red button chillies - 5-6
  • Curry leaves - 2-3
Method

In a pan, heat oil and add garlic, cook for a minute. Add cumin seeds, dried red button chillies, curry leaves and cook for 1-2 minutes. Tarka is ready.
