Ingredients
  • K&N’s Breakfast Sausage - 10-12 sausages
  • Water - ½ cup
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Yeast - 1 tsp
  • Egg - 1
  • All-purpose flour - 2 cups
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Boiled potatoes - 2 cups; cut into small cubes
  • Cornstarch - 3 tbsp
  • Breadcrumbs - 2 cups
  • Oil - for frying

 

Method

Pour water in a bowl; add sugar, yeast, egg and mix well.

Add all-purpose flour, salt and whisk until no lumps remain.

Cover with cling wrap and set aside for 30-40 minutes till double in size.

Mix potato cubes with cornstarch till well coated.  

Thaw K&N’s Breakfast Sausage as per instructions on pack and insert a wooden skewer into each K&N’s Breakfast Sausage.

Dip K&N’s Breakfast Sausage skewer into the prepared flour batter, then coat with breadcrumbs, and potato cubes, and lastly breadcrumbs again.

Repeat the process to coat all sausages.

Deep fry sausage skewers until crispy and golden brown.

Serve by drizzling ketchup and mustard sauce.
