Ingredients
  • K&N's Croquettes - 6-8 croquettes
  • Cooking Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Sesame Oil - 1 tsp
  • Garlic - 2 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Sauce - 1 tsp
  • Light Soy Sauce - 1 tsp
  • Water - ¼ cup
  • White Pepper Powder - ½ tsp; julienned
  • Oyster Sauce - 2 tsp
  • Button Mushroom - 10 pieces; diced
  • Corn Flour - 1 tbsp
  • Spring Onion - 5; julienned

 

Method

Heat cooking oil and sesame oil in a wok; add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Add red chilli sauce and soy sauce and sauté for half a minute.

Add water and cook for 2 minutes.

Add white pepper, oyster sauce and button mushrooms. Stir well to combine and season to taste.

In a separate bowl, mix corn flour in 2 table spoons of water.

Add the corn flour mixture to the boiling sauce while stirring continuously. Simmer till gravy thickens.

Fry K&N's Croquettes as per instructions on pack and add to sauce, with spring onion.

Cook for an additional minute.

Serve with a glaze of sesame oil.
