Cheesy Sausage Bread Cones

Ingredients
  • K&N’s Frankfurter Sausage - 10-12 sausages
  • Bread slices - 10-12
  • Mozzarella cheese - 1 cup; grated
  • Bread filling - as required
  • Red chilli flakes - as required
  • Spring onions - for garnishing
  • Garlic butter - as required
  • Dried parsley - for garnishing

 

For Garlic Butter Spread

  • Butter - 1 cup; melted
  • Garlic - 1 tbsp; minced
  • Dried oregano - 1 tsp

 

Method

Thaw K&N’s Frankfurter Sausage as per instructions on pack and cut into small slices. Reserve some slices for garnishing.

Mix K&N’s Frankfurter Sausage into the prepared bread filling.

Remove the edges of bread slices and flatten with a rolling pin.

Brush water lightly on one corner and press together both the corners firmly to make a cone. Make sure to seal the edges properly.

Add mozzarella cheese to fill the bottom of cone. Add bread filling and sprinkle more mozzarella cheese on top.

Top it with K&N’s Frankfurter Sausage slices and sprinkle red chilli flakes.

Brush the bread cones generously with garlic butter and bake at 160°C for 3-4 minutes until cheese melts.

Garnish with dried parsley and serve.

 

For Garlic Butter Spread

Add all the ingredients in a bowl; mix well and set aside.

 

Bread Filling:
Ingredients
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Garlic 1 tbsp; minced
  • Green bell pepper - 1 cup; chopped
  • Onions - 1 cup; chopped
  • Black olives - ½ cup; chopped
  • Jalapenos - ½ cup; chopped
  • Ketchup - 1 cup
  • Soy sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Red chilli flakes - 1 tbsp
  • Dried parsley - 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp

 

Method

In a pan, heat oil and sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add green bell pepper, onion and cook for a minute. Add black olives and jalapenos; cook for another minute.

Add ketchup, soy sauce, red chilli powder, red chilli flakes, dried parsley, black pepper powder, salt and mix well. 

Add K&N’s Frankfurter Sausage and give it a good toss.

Bread filling is ready. Set aside.
