Ingredients
  • K&N’s Jumbo Frank Sausage with cheese and onion - 15-18 sausages
  • Lasagna sheets - 1 pack; boiled
  • Marinara sauce - as required
  • Cheddar cheese slices - 15-18
  • Mozzarella cheese - 1½ cup; shredded
  • Carrots - 2 tbsp; chopped
  • Bell pepper - 2 tbsp; chopped

 

Method

Thaw K&N’s Jumbo Frank Sausage as per instructions on pack and cut in half.

Roll each half of Jumbo Frank Sausage in cheddar cheese slice and then roll in lasagna sheet.

Spread half of marinara sauce in a baking dish at the bottom and place Jumbo Frank roll-ups.

Spread remaining marinara sauce on top. Add a layer of mozzarella cheese and top with carrots and bell pepper.

Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C, for 15-20 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve hot.

 
Marinara Sauce:
Ingredients
  • Olive oil - 3 tbsp
  • Garlic - 2 tsp; chopped
  • Tomato puree - 2 cups
  • Tomato paste - ½ cup
  • Oregano - 1 tsp
  • Thyme - 1 tsp, dried
  • Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp

 

Method

Heat olive oil in a pan; add garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

Add tomato puree and tomato paste; cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add oregano, dried thyme, black pepper powder and salt.

Mix well until sauce thickens. Set aside.
