Ingredients
  • K&N’s Pastrami Strips - 25-30 strips
  • Onion - 4-5
  • Cheese filling - as required
  • All-purpose flour - 2 cups
  • Beaten eggs - 2
  • Bread crumbs - 2 cups
  • Oil - for frying

 

For Honey Mustard Dip

  • Mayonnaise - 1 cup
  • Mustard paste - 3 tbsp
  • Honey - ¼ cup
  • Salt - ½ tsp
  • Black pepper powder - ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp

 

Method

Thaw K&N’s Pastrami Strips as per instructions on pack.

Cut onions into thick rings. Take three layers of onion rings, taking the middle one out.

Fill the middle hollow space with cheese filling.

Wrap K&N’s Pastrami Strips around the onion ring tightly, secure with tooth picks and set aside.

Dust the ring in the all-purpose flour and dip it in beaten eggs and the coat with bread crumbs.

Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry until crispy and golden brown in color.

Pastrami onion rings are ready. Dip Pastrami Onion Ring in Honey Mustard Sauce and enjoy.

 

For Honey Mustard Dip

In a bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well. Honey mustard dip is ready. Set aside.

 

Cheese Filling:
Ingredients
  • Mozzarella cheese - 1½ cup; grated
  • Mixed herbs - 3 tbsp
  • Red chilli flakes - 1 tsp
  • Salt - ½ tsp
  • Black pepper powder - ½ tsp
  • Garlic powder - 1 tsp
  • Mint leaves - 2 tbsp; chopped

 

Method

In a bowl, add mozzarella cheese, mixed herbs, red chilli flakes, salt, black pepper powder, mint leaves and mix well. Set aside.
