Ingredients
- K&N's Pastrami Strips - 30-32 strips/300 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp
- Avocado - 1; sliced
- Onion - 1; chopped
- Garlic - 2 tbsp; finely chopped
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Tomato - 2 cups; chopped
- Jalapeño chilli - 2; diced
- Brown sugar - ½ tsp
- White pepper - 1 tsp
- Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
- Spring onion - ¼ cup; chopped
- Cream - ½ cup
- Cumin seeds - ½ tsp
- Coriander leaves - ½ cup
Method
Thaw K&N's Pastrami Strips as per instructions on pack and set aside.
Sauté avocados in a wok with olive oil for about a minute.
Add onion and garlic and sauté for half a minute more. Then add turmeric powder, tomatoes, jalapeños, brown sugar, white pepper, and cook for 3 minutes while stirring continuously.
Add thawed Pastrami Strips; mix and let cook for a minute, stirring occasionally.
Add lemon juice, salt, spring onions, cream and let simmer for a minute.
Add cumin seeds and coriander leaves for aroma and serve hot.
