Ingredients
  • K&N's Pastrami Strips - 30-32 strips/300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • Avocado - 1; sliced
  • Onion - 1; chopped
  • Garlic - 2 tbsp; finely chopped
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Tomato - 2 cups; chopped
  • Jalapeño chilli - 2; diced
  • Brown sugar - ½ tsp
  • White pepper - 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
  • Spring onion - ¼ cup; chopped
  • Cream - ½ cup
  • Cumin seeds - ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves - ½ cup

 

Method

Thaw K&N's Pastrami Strips as per instructions on pack and set aside.

Sauté avocados in a wok with olive oil for about a minute.

Add onion and garlic and sauté for half a minute more. Then add turmeric powder, tomatoes, jalapeños, brown sugar, white pepper, and cook for 3 minutes while stirring continuously.

Add thawed Pastrami Strips; mix and let cook for a minute, stirring occasionally.

Add lemon juice, salt, spring onions, cream and let simmer for a minute.

Add cumin seeds and coriander leaves for aroma and serve hot.
