Ingredients

 

  • K&N's Mortadella Slices - 12 slices
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • Onion - ¼ cup; chopped
  • Garlic - 2 tbsp; crushed
  • Mushrooms - ½ cup; sliced
  • Tomato paste - 1 tbsp
  • White pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
  • Penne pasta - 4 cups; boiled
  • Sour cream - 1 cup
  • Basil leaves - ¼ cup
  • Chicken stock - ½ cup; 1 cube K&N's Stok dissolved in ½ cup water

 

Method

Thaw K&N's Mortadella Slices as per instructions on pack, and cut them into quarters.

Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions and garlic for 2 minutes, or until soft.

Add mushrooms, tomato paste, white pepper powder, salt and stir well.

Add boiled pasta to the pan and stir to combine flavours.

Pour in sour cream and stir to combine.

Add quartered Mortadella Slices and mix well.

Mix in basil leaves and chicken stock. Let simmer for 1-2 minutes and serve hot.
