- K&N’s Tikka Toppingz ’n Fillingz – as required
- Mozzarella cheese - as required; grated
- Marinara sauce - as required
For Dough
- All-purpose flour - 2 cups
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Sugar - 1/2 tbsp
- Yeast - 1 tsp
- Butter - 2 tbsp
- Egg – 1
- Oil - 4 tbsp
- Milk - 1/4 cup
- Water - as required (for kneading)
For Egg Mixture
- Egg - 1
- Butter - 2 tbsp; melted
- Parmesan cheese powder - 1/4 cup
- Fresh Coriander - ¼ cup
- Salt – to taste
Prepare K&N's Tikka Toppingz ’n Fillingz as per instructions on pack. Set aside.
Take dough and make 8 balls each of 32 grams from it. Roll it out in small circle shapes.
Spread marinara sauce on them and place prepared K&N's Toppingz ’n Fillingz in the center. Top it with some cheese and close in ball shape again.
Place prepared buns in a baking tray and brush them with egg mixture.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 to 25 minutes or until light golden brown.
Your tasty mini tikka buns are ready. Serve with marinara sauce and enjoy.
For Dough
In a bowl add flour, salt, sugar, yeast, butter, egg, oil, milk, and mix it all well.
Gradually add water and knead a smooth dough. Grease and cover with cling.
Let it sit for 25 to 30 minutes or until double in size.
For Egg Mixture
In a bowl crack egg, add butter, parmesan cheese powder, coriander and salt.
Whisk well and egg mixture is ready. Set aside.
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp
- Garlic - 1/2 tbsp; chopped
- Onion - 2 tbsp; finely chopped
- Tomato puree - 1 cup
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli flakes - 1/2 tbsp
- Italian seasoning - 1/2 tbsp
- Fresh basil - 1 tbsp
Heat olive oil in a pan, add garlic, and sauté for a minute. Add onion and cook until translucent.
Then add tomato puree, salt, black pepper powder, red chilli flakes, and Italian seasoning.
Mix well and cook on medium-low flame for 15 to 20 minutes or until desired consistency is reached.
Lastly add chopped basil leaves and give it a good mix. Your marinara sauce is ready, set aside.
